Staff from the Kenaitze Indian Tribe’s Dena’ina Health Clinic and the Alaska Tobacco Control Alliance gave a tobacco prevention and cessation presentation to the ACC campus on January, 21. ACC was awarded the status of “Trail Breaker” during the 2010 Tobacco Summit in Kenai, Alaska.  ACC is one of only two colleges and/or universities in Alaska that are designated tobacco-free.  Anyone needing assistance in kicking the habit can contact Alaska’s Tobacco Quit Line at 1-800-QUIT-NOW or visit alaskaquitline.com
